Katy Perry Meets Elmo

I can’t say that I’m at all interested in ‘celebrity’, however, I do admit to liking the nudist camp for Muppets that is ‘Sesame Street’. Who doesn’t?

Katy Perry was invited onto the show to perform a childrens version of her song “Hot N’ Cold” with lovable red monster Elmo, which was supposed to run during a New Year’s episode. Anyway, due to complains over Katy’s cleavage, the scene was cut from the show, what a pity.

Here’s what Sesame Street’s executive producer had to say:

“We would never produce anything that we thought was inappropriate. We were surprised by not only the amount of feedback, but how fast it came in. It was a lot.”
